The MLK Jr. Leadership Awards are awarded to individuals who embody the spirit of Dr. King’s work. “Service to the Community” is defined and includes academic, research, religious, and secular contributions in which integrity, leadership, creativity, and positive outcome are apparent.

O.L. Sherrill Service Awards are awarded to individuals who exhibit outstanding service to the community.

Ron L. Lamb Awards are awarded to individuals who exhibit exemplary citizenship and have provided continued exceptional service to the community and are the embodiment of servant leadership.

The Outstanding Student Award presented by the Gamma Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is awarded to students based on high-moral and ethical standards, community involvement, and academic achievement.
